Jedli Toolbox
The Jedli Toolbox is a first version of Jedli and currently available for Windows users only. At a later stage, we are planning to release versions compatible with other operating systems, as well as the source code. This tool box was developed by José Haro Peralta and Peter Verkinderen.
To use the Jedli Toolbox on your computer, please read the user manual (pdf) carefully. Moreover, it might also be helpful to consult the introduction and examples included in the article "'Find for me!': Building a Context-Based Search Tool Using Python" by José Haro Peralta and Peter Verkinderen accessible on the De Gruyter website.
The downloadable version of the Jedli Toolbox only contains a couple of sample texts. Additionally, a large collection of texts to use with Jedli has been created. You can choose between different file packages: all.zip contains the complete text collection, but you can also select only the undated texts, those from the period 50-1000 AH, or those after 1000 AH. You find all file packages here.
To download and install the Jedli Toolbox, please save the ZIP file on your computer and follow the user manual unpacking the files and installing Jedli.
